Yes Google has launched its ‘Release Candidate‘ version of the plugin ,previously to this it was beta version and lot of interest has been seen from worldwide on this. A Web story is basically a short way of expressing the visual snippet in Google search which helps people to understand what is the content of your blog post. What is the use of Google WebStories

People are used to browse the website mainly via mobile and like short and sweet snippet of the stories before digging into deep of the webpage. WebStores are mainly targeted and consumed by mobile user who just want to skim on the content.

Step 2: Now you be in the story builder area which has 3 main menus Elements, WYSIWYG editor, Customiser settings The ‘Elements’ menu, where you can choose to upload images or videos ,different text and shapes to use in your stories. The ‘WYSIWYG’ is also know as middle section for editing your story board like drag drop of images/videos, scale the fonts and much more on design of your story. The last option is ‘Customiser settings’ menu which is at right most and has 2 different option DESIGN & DOCUMENT. The Design is mainly used for further designing the various elements of the story and the Documents where you have finishing touch of your story like setting up the status, name of the story and finally publish it.

Guidelines or Rules for Google WebStories

Using Google WebStories is just like same as all other social media platform site with its limitations and rules to be followed. Below are the few guidelines to be followed while creating your story

Your are allowed to create 4 – 30 pages per story
Your are allowed to use upto 200 characters of text per page
The title of story should not exceed 40 character, but advisable to keep as short and SEO friendly
The video which you use for WebStories shall be of 15seconds long and advisable to be in portrait mode.
Only one affiliate link per story is allowed.
Your stories shall not be as extreme as commercial.
